Wednesday, September 16
Today was a great day!! I took today off instead of yesterday due to schedule, but didn't stop me!! Without even trying I walked 10,452 steps today!!! (Have a watch with a pedometer for walking and running!) That is almost count them. . . .FOUR miles!!! Yay, and I didn't even block time out for that! I am feeling so much better, I have been taking my vitamins and doing the Braggs! I need to make it up to get the DVD tomorrow, hard doing the workouts on the computer, but I manage :-)! So let's see, what did I eat for the past two days, Oh yeah,
Tuesday:
Breakfast, Strawberrry/Banana protein shake

H2O: 120 oz, 1gallon!!! (yes, lots of bathroom breaks!)
Didn't have a snack, due to having Algebra class, took quiz scored 91%! Tomorrow is the first exam, feeling pretty good about! Have decided to wait and do my work out about 1.5 hrs. before class, increase brain activity! (I hope!)
Wednesday:

snack: grapes
Lunch: Turkey sandwich (@Bread co., I was good though, no coffee or sweets!)

Starting over again. . .
So last week was a wash for me. I had the flu and strep throat! Talk about your double whammy! I did not work out or follow any meal plan, considering that I pretty much ate nothing. So I spoke with Coach Johnson today and he told me to do week two over, so that is what I"m going to do! I did manage to work out on Sat. and Sunday, I did 2.5 miles on Sat. and 3.5 miles on Sun. walking mostly (just trying to get my strength back!) One good thing that came out of it is I did lose about four pounds! So my goal is to keep those lbs. off for good!! Here goes!
Monday, Sept. 14
Breakfast: bowl raisin bran cereal w/ half banana
Snack: 0 (had a test today and was studying and forgot!)

Dinner: Baked Tilapia, wild grain rice and green beans.
Snack: 0
Work out: walk 25 min. , while pushing a bicycle trailer/stroller with two children in it! Total of 3.0 miles!!
I did manage to catch up on my reading to today! One of the goals of the week is to get it all read, the other to stay healthy!!

Grateful for Coach Johnson!
I just want to say how grateful I am that the Lord has allowed our paths to cross. Having a coach is one of the things I miss the most about no longer being a highschool and college athlete and now I feel that I have found a coach for my new athletic endeavors! I know that I will be training with you either during or after this program, I just have to see what my schedule is going to be like with school and home. This is only the 4th day of the program, I know there will be struggles ahead, but I'm ready! Every night when I read scripture I have an overwhelming sense that I am going to succeed with this program! Thank you so much for giving me my wings back!

I am going to be out of town for the weekend and I'm not sure if I will have computer access there. I will continue to write in my hard copy food journal and then log it when I return. I have been feeling very good. Legs were a little sore on Wednesday, but I did Yoga and Stretched and felt better. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous for the fast tomorrow, I will be traveling in a car for most of the day and I tend to get a little car sick. I am going to try to stick it out and do my best! (I-44 is not the most forgiving interstate for motion sickness!) I hope everyone has a blessed weekend and Beta Test Group, know that I have been praying for you all! Continue to stay strong and trust in the Lord and we will be Fit 4 Christ!!

Day one: Food Journal and workout guide
Well, today was day one of the program and I was ready, however my alarm clock wasn't! Woke up late for school, but did get it together for rest of the day. I ate healthy foods today, but I know I didn't eat enough.
Breakfast 7:30 am: Apple
During class (2 1/2 hrs.) 48 oz of H2O
Lunch 11:00 am: Turkey sandwich w/cheese, tomato and lettuce; apple, 24 0z H2O.
2:00 pm: Ran/Walk 15 min and 45 sec. total of 1.5 miles
30 oz. H2O
4:00 pm: Low fat Key lime Pie Yogurt and 1.5 Tbls. of cranberry trail mix
Dinner 6:30 pm: Turkey sandwich w/avocado, tomato, 2 Tbls. onion Potato and 24 oz water
Felling great! Legs felt a little tired from the run, but knee didn't give me any trouble (made me very happy!) I do know I needed to eat more @ breakfast, felt sluggish in the afternoon and hungrier than normal. Mondays can be a little hectic for me, I have class from 8 - 2 and then have to run and pick up my girls and get ready for soccer practice; etc. . . . I am going to finish my chapters tonight, I have two left. I found myself praying during my run today, I asked God to help give me the strength to finish the run and to follow through with this program and I know that he was there. I wanted to quit and walk more, but didn't; I wanted to buy onion rings for lunch, but didn't. God is good! Going to bed to try to get some extra rest in (if the baby doesn't wake up too many times!) Back @ it tomorrow! God Bless.

Getting Started
Well I've done it! I created this blog to track my progress in this new workout program I was chosen for; I'm a little scared since I'm not that computer savvy, but here we go! I hope that I don't bore anyone and perhaps I might inspire someone!
